Louis XVI of France must try to save not only his throne, but also his very neck. In his attempt to flee the horrors of revolutionary Paris, Louis sends his family treasure over his northern border to Oval in the Austrian Netherlands (modern day Belgium). History records that the fortune of the Bourbons and the jewels of Marie Antoinette were taken to the Abbey of Orval in Belgium, where they vanished. They have never been recovered.

Two hundred years later a mysterious diary appears that sends two people in pursuit of the truth and Louis XVI’s gold. What they discover is beyond their imagination and will change their lives forever.
